School Code of Conduct and Discipline

General Principles

Topcrest International School is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, disciplined, and academically focused learning environment. All students are expected to uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, respect, and excellence in their conduct at all times. The Code of Conduct establishes clear behavioral expectations and disciplinary procedures to ensure a positive school culture.

Respect and Behavior

Students must demonstrate respect toward teachers, staff, fellow students, and visitors. Polite language, courteous behavior, and cooperative attitudes are expected at all times. Any form of bullying, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or physical or verbal abuse is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.

Students must respect school property, facilities, and learning materials. Acts of vandalism, damage to property, or misuse of school resources will not be tolerated and may require restitution.

Academic Integrity

Honesty in academic work is mandatory. Cheating, plagiarism, copying assignments, falsifying information, or any form of academic dishonesty is considered a serious violation. Students must complete their work independently unless collaborative tasks are assigned by the teacher. Violations may result in academic penalties and further disciplinary measures.

Attendance and Punctuality

Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for academic success. Students must arrive at school and attend all classes on time. Absences must be reported by parents or guardians according to school policy. Repeated unexcused absences or lateness may lead to disciplinary consequences.

Dress Code and Presentation

Students are required to adhere strictly to the official School Uniform Policy. Uniforms must be worn neatly and appropriately. Personal appearance must reflect discipline and respect for the institution. Unauthorized accessories or alterations to the uniform are not permitted.

Classroom Conduct

Students are expected to maintain discipline inside the classroom. Disruptive behavior, use of inappropriate language, refusal to follow instructions, or interference with teaching and learning processes will not be accepted. Active participation, attentiveness, and cooperation are encouraged.

Use of Technology

The use of digital devices within the school premises must comply with institutional regulations. Unauthorized use of mobile phones or electronic devices during instructional hours is prohibited unless permitted for academic purposes. Misuse of technology, including cyberbullying or accessing inappropriate content, will result in strict disciplinary action.

Health and Safety

Students must follow all health and safety regulations established by the school. Possession of prohibited items, including weapons, harmful substances, or unauthorized materials, is strictly forbidden. Any action that endangers the safety of others will result in immediate disciplinary review.

Disciplinary Procedures

The school follows a structured and fair disciplinary process. Minor infractions may result in verbal warnings or written notices. Repeated or serious violations may lead to parental notification, detention, suspension, or other corrective measures as determined by the school administration. Severe misconduct may result in expulsion in accordance with school policy.

The purpose of discipline at Topcrest International School is corrective and educational rather than punitive. Students are guided to reflect on their actions, accept responsibility, and demonstrate improvement in behavior.

Parental Responsibility

Parents and guardians are expected to support the school’s Code of Conduct by reinforcing discipline, respect, and positive behavior at home. Effective collaboration between parents and the school ensures the overall development and success of each student.

Topcrest International School reserves the right to amend or update this Code of Conduct in accordance with institutional needs and educational standards. Compliance with these regulations is mandatory for all students enrolled in the school.
